My March monthly resolution is going to be to find a breakfast that works for me. I admit I love lavish breakfasts as much as the next pinterest member. I eat croissants like they're going out of style. But sadly daily croissant consumption is not a sustainable plan. Not only are they overpriced and generally sold at tiny shops that demand cash only, but they are essentially devoid of any nutritional value (unless you consider butter to be a fruit/vegetable). this morning my yoga teacher shouted at us "its seven am and you are doing the splits, what else could you want!?" i will not go into detail about the answers that ran through my head... but once i got over my initial rage at his early morning happiness i realized that i actually really loved the sentiment of "what else could you want?" and wanted to apply it to the end of every sentence. wouldn't the world be a better (more yogic) place if we rejoiced this way after every thing we said ? i think so... so now...

A sketch of my favorite look from the new kate spade collection. I had the honor of sitting on a chic black and white ottoman mere feet from the colorful crisp new looks this afternoon at the spring 2012 presentation while Deborah Lloyd described the inspirations for the designs. It was just the way to spend a Tuesday in October - looking forward to a springtime inspired by tennis, electric colors, finishing school sweetness and the classic style of Florence Broadhurst patterns.
